Bye Bye Bag

• Business II: Business Planning and Professional Development •

This was probably one of my favorite projects I have ever worked on! This group project was a part of my Business II class in my first year at RIT. Our task was to brainstorm a completely novel product, one that had never been seen before, and then craft a five-year business plan for it. Our team, which included myself (I’m the one who came up with the name), conceived the “Bye Bye Bag”. The Bye Bye Bag was an innovative laundry bag that dissolved in water, integrating detergent. Use it to collect your laundry during the week, eliminating the need to carry bulky laundry products to the washer/dryer.

I held the role of “Marketing and Sales Director,” where my main focus revolved around aspects such as designing the logo, choosing a name, developing the branding, identifying the target market, devising our comprehensive marketing strategy, and creating the Google Slides presentation you’ll find below. Furthermore, I actively managed the formatting for our final 66-page business plan, as demonstrated below.

Our project had a dual focus: achieving a high grade and engaging in friendly competition among groups. At semester’s end, we presented to RIT/Saunders College of Business alumni for feedback, and they voted for their favorite project. We not only excelled academically but also emerged as competition winners through determination, communication, teamwork, and a drive for success. This recognition earned us a spot on a poster in the Saunders College of Business lobby!
